On 11th January 2014, Saturday GVCSAA celebrated their “First Alumni Day”. The event was graced by presence of many former students and their active and fervent participation. Honorable Chief Guest Mr. Sudarshan Bhai Iyengar, Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapith inaugurated Official Web Site and Portal of GVPCSAA. Honorable Principal Gujarat Vidyapith Mr. Kanubhai Nayak awarded certificates to MCA/DCA(2012-2013) pass out students who secured First class in academics. Prof. Ajay Parikh- Head Department of Computer Science introduced the guests and warmly welcomed everyone to the Alumni Day and appreciated the attendees. GVPCSAA president Mr. Girish Suthar (DCA-1988) gave epigrammatic information about the motive and the work of association. Mr. Ankur Trivedi (DCA-1992) and Mr. Mantavya Gajjjar (MCA-2006) gave live demonstration of GVPCSAA Website and GVPCSAA Portal.

Mr. Nilesh Gol gave meticulous information about Judicious use of Electronic Gadgets and Internet awareness campaign carried out by GVPCSAA in association with Computer Science Department.

Prof. Sanjay Choudhary (M. Phil./Ph. D.Students of Gujarat vidyapith) gave very informative lecture on “Green Computing”. Entire event had been astonishingly hosted by Ms. Alpa (DCA-1998). The program was magnificently concluded by Alumni member Mr. Hardik Shah (MCA-1997).
